Coveris Strengthens Global Brand with Acquisition of New Zealand-based Elldex
Coveris Holdings S.A., a leading packaging and coatings solutions company, today announced the acquisition of Elldex Packaging Solutions, a New Zealand-based full-service flexible packaging company. The acquisition, which is effective immediately, will enable Coveris to expand globally into Australasia.
Elldex is a manufacturer and importer of HDPE and LDPE flexible plastic packaging. With more than 125 employees, Elldex provides products that serve the meat, dairy, seafood, horticulture, and agricultural sectors.
“We are very pleased to add Elldex Packaging Solutions to Coveris,” says Gary Masse, Coveris CEO. “As the global demand for our products continues to increase, Elldex will allow us to serve our customers in this important region of the world.”
