Kodak Introduces Universal Backlit Glossy Film
Print shops and other imaging professionals looking for a one-step backlit inkjet film with a glossy finish now have an ideal product for their backlit needs: Kodak Universal Backlit Film, Glossy / 8 mil. The new backlit film is a gloss-coated polyester designed to produce vibrant light box graphics. It also looks great without backlighting for other display applications, the company says. Compatible with dye and pigmented inks, it's water-resistant with pigmented inks and emulates the popular Kodak Duratrans display material from continuous-tone machines. For smooth production and installation, Kodak Universal Backlit Film, Glossy / 8 mil is relatively heavy and rigid, making it durable and easy to work with in production.
