2016 FPA Annual Meeting Defines Key Issues

November 2, 2015

The FPA 2016 Annual Meeting brings top-notch speakers to the podium. They will define perspectives on issues that impact the flexible packaging industry; topics already confirmed include:

  • The political environment as 2016 electioneering intensifies
  • Strategies of a CEO who has run a leading consumer packaged goods company and a federal department

The Annual Meeting returns to The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, Fla., on March 1-3, 2016. The meeting also presents winners of the 2016 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards.

Confirmed Speakers

Howard Fineman is a Political Analyst for MSNBC, Global Editorial Director of The Huffington Post Media Group, and a best-selling author. During his career, Fineman has interviewed every president and every major presidential candidate since 1988. Among business leaders he has interviewed are Bill Gates, Ted Turner and Glenn Beck.

Secretary Carlos Gutierrez is former CEO and Chairman of the Board at Kellogg Co. and former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Fortune magazine called Gutierrez “the man who fixed Kellogg.” At the Commerce Dept., he made opening global markets a top priority.

Stan Bikulege is Chairman and CEO, NOVOLEX™. His presentation will deliver a perspective on the State of the U.S. Flexible Packaging Industry.

Nick Vafiadis is Senior Director, Global Polyolefins and Plastics, IHS Chemical. He will give the Polyolefin Market Update, identifying trends that will affect flexible material availability.

In addition, the Annual Meeting will have a European Flexible Packaging Update session. Another session, based on a report from Euromonitor, probes Flexible Packaging End-Use Markets.
