Fortis Solutions Acquires Label Printing Plant
Fortis Solutions Group has acquired Smithfield Foods, Inc.’s label printing plant, which provides pressure sensitive prime, promotional and thermal labels to a number of Smithfield Foods facilities as well as third party customers.

"We see tremendous opportunity to enhance our service offerings to new and existing customers through this acquisition. We look forward to growing the facility and are delighted to welcome its employees to the Fortis organization.”
The plant, based outside of Kansas City, Missouri, will operate under the Fortis Solutions Group name. Employing 265 employees across five sites, the company intends to continue its pursuit of acquisitions.
