Max Daetwyler Corporation has appointed Roger Heid to the position of CEO for the North American operations.

“Roger Heid brings a wealth of experience to Daetwyler.” says Ralph Daetwyler, group CEO. “He joined the U.S. headquarters in 2015 as VP of operations and quickly became involved in the day-to-day operations of all divisions of Daetwyler. With my appointment to group CEO in Switzerland in late 2015, Roger was the perfect choice to head up the Americas operation. He fits the Daetwyler culture of excellence and commitment and I am confident that the U.S. team is in good hands.”

Heid holds degrees in manufacturing engineering and business administration. He began his career with a mechanical apprenticeship in Switzerland, then joined Stryker Switzerland, a manufacturer of medical devices and equipment, where he spent over five years in procurement, manufacturing engineering and project engineering for global projects. He then joined the Swiss Federal Railways in a management role as sr. business analyst as an interface between procurement and information technology. After joining Daetwyler Industries Management team, he spent a year traveling between Switzerland and China where he managed Daetwyler’s Chinese subsidiary. In January 2015, Heid moved to the U.S. as VP of Operations, which culminated with his appointment of North American CEO.
