On June 2, Nordmeccanica officially opened the doors on its new, larger North American headquarters in Hauppague, NY. Hosted by Vincenzo Cerciello, Nordmeccanica NA president, Alfredo Cerciello, Nordmeccanica Group financial director, and Giancarlo Caimmi, Nordmeccanica Group commercial director, the grand opening event consisted of both a formal ribbon cutting as well as a technical conference featuring live demonstrations.

Nordmeccanica NA has operated in North America for over 15 years. The new Hauppague office space is twice the size of its previous one, a reflection of the company’s increasing market share and number of customers served. It features an expanded inventory space for spare parts and also includes expanded office space to better serve and support its customers, which exist throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Over 120 guests attended the ribbon cutting and conference, an audience that consisted of representatives from companies served by Nordmeccanica, Nordmeccanica technical partners and industry media, including Flexible Packaging. The technical portion of the program featured a demonstration of the company’s technical capabilities in lamination, including showcasing the thinnest aluminum foil ever converted in adhesive lamination. Vincenzo Cerciello and Giancarlo Caimmi presented papers on the technology, and Clemson University Professor Dr. Duncan Darby also presented on foil handling.
