Sun Centre Opens New North American Headquarters, Technology Center
Sun Centre USA has moved to its new U.S. headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The new facility provides expanded space for corporate offices as well as 10,000 square feet for the company’s new Technology Center.
The Technology Center will feature full-function pouch-making machinery, allowing customers can conduct pouch trial runs. Operators can also be trained and certified or recertified without taking away from their own production schedules.
“While Sun Centre machinery has been built in China for the last 16 years, in the last five years, our USA operation has established an extensive sales and service operation serving customers worldwide with bilingual technicians 24/7,” says Sun Centre USA president Jim Peace. “And now our new Technology Center will provide customers with hands-on experience with our equipment and a chance to explore the latest advances in pouch making and all related machinery.”
Sun Centre USA can demonstrate advanced pouch making for small to large digital printers, as well as the newest multi-chambered pouch-making technology, at the new Technology Center. The new facility will also house the company’s machining center, where parts for all makes and models of pouch machinery can be reverse engineered and manufactured — saving customers time and money.
