MacDermid Printing Unveils New Name, Logo
MacDermid Printing Solutions will become part of MacDermid Performance Solutions and be renamed MacDermid Graphics Solutions. The company has also launched a new logo with a more contemporary look.
Platform Specialty Products Corp.'s acquisition of MacDermid, Inc. in 2013 and subsequent acquisitions by Platform have created the need for a new organizational structure within MacDermid.
“This was a perfect time to evaluate our company’s brand and logo to ensure it was in sync with who we are and where we are going,” says Heather Barrett, global marketing director at MacDermid Graphics Solutions. “After careful consideration, we chose a new logo that pays respect to our Scottish heritage, but with a more modern look that shows our place in MacDermid Performance Solutions. The new logo represents the ongoing evolution of our company brand.”
Officials say the new branding reflects the company's continued innovation in the packaging, screen printing and newspaper businesses.
