Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Grootegast has appointed Andrea Poelstra as its sales manager for its Netherlands-based business.

Poelstra will be responsible for Grootegast's form and seal packaging solutions as well as new business development. Grootegast's form and seal packaging is used in a wide range of markets including confectionery, bakery, textile, personal care, flowers, vegetables and the professional seed market.

Form and seal packaging solutions include flexo and gravure printed pointed bags, side weld bags and standup pouches. Almost any shape is possible and can be printed mono-film or include a range of different laminates with a barrier.

Prior to joining Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Grootegast, Poelstra worked for an export company, which exported European food specialities to Asia and Australia. Poelstra has held senior sales positions in various companies in the food, agriculture and energy industries.
