FirstWave’s aseptic filling technology and ProAmpac’s short-run pouching capabilities allow co-packers to launch aseptic shelf-stable liquid food in a convenient, flexible custom-printed spouted pouch.

The multilayer, coextruded polypropylene films ProPeel-IWS are heat-resistant with a melting point of up to 165°C to work with hot filling.

The move makes it a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to the packaging paper currently used in the sector. 

New offering can improve protection of printed flexible packaging material against heat, chemicals and water.

 The pouch features a high oxygen barrier, outstanding package integrity, and excellent shelf-appeal, and it produces an almost colorless recyclate after the removal of printing ink.

The two companies are working together with the goal of providing solutions that help brands achieve their corporate global commitments and meet legislative mandates requiring post-consumer content.

The solution marks the first paper-based coated structure in the S-OneLP EMEA line.

C-P Flexible Packaging, has announced that its subsidiary, Preferred Packaging, has partnered with Northwest Frozen LLC to launch high-performance flexible packaging that will extend the shelf-life of refrigerated meals.

Designed specifically for flexible packaging, NOVA’s EX-PCR-HD5 resin is a mechanically recycled material sourced from HDPE milk jugs that lowers waste and contributes to creating a circular economy.

Known commercially as Camfoil, the new alternative is a multi-layer metallized laminate that offers the same benefits of foil while eliminating the risk of pin-holing.
