The Bobst stand at K 2016 will be dedicated to providing inspiration to plastic film converters on how to achieve excellence in process performance and substrate functionality.

Bobst Solution Masters will be at the company’s booth to advise visitors on their options for achieving process performance excellence – whether that’s in vacuum coating and metallizing, coating, extrusion coating or printing and lamination.

Details on the new K5 Expert metallizer will also be available. Capable of running at speeds of up to 1,200 meters per minute, company officials say the machine will be the most productive vacuum metallizer in the world.

Technical and commercial specialists from Bobst will bring visitors to the K show up to date with the latest customized configurations and industry segment applications in extrusion coating and laminating. They will also be on hand to discuss coating solutions for aluminum lacquering, hot melt, film coating, label stock and release liners, adhesive tapes, and pre- and post-metallization.

The company will also offer samples and details of its latest additions to the Bobst range of CI flexo printing, gravure printing and laminating machines – presented in demonstrations at Drupa earlier this year – alongside the Bobst digital flexo process.

Visitors can find Bobst at booth A39 in Hall 4 at K 2016, which takes place Oct. 19-26 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
