For the third time in the last five years, Max Speciality Films Ltd. has won the India Star Award.

The company’s new ultra-high barrier and strong seal cavitated metalized BOPP film was judge in the Excellence in Packaging category.

Company officials say that for years snack packagers have had no option but to use two different substrates: aluminum foil to keep out moisture and oxygen, and PE for its sealing characteristics. Max Speciality Films’ new BOPP film, developed by the company’s research and development team, is a solution to that problem, officials say.
