The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) recently released a new infographic that highlights the sustainability and convenience benefits of flexible packaging.

Flexible packaging is leading the way as a holistically sustainable packaging solution. It consumes less energy and fewer natural resources; generates less CO2 emissions; results in higher product-to-package ratio; and requires fewer trucks for transportation, using less fuel and creating fewer emissions.

Convenience is king. Flexible packaging’s features make life more convenient. It is easy to store; easy to reseal; easy to open; extends product life; and is easy to carry. Single-serve flexible packaging makes it easy to snack on-the-go and control portion size.
