Farnell Packaging Limited of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has earned certification under the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP).

 

Established in 1961, Farnell Packaging is a family-owned and operated business offering high-quality, innovative flexible packaging solutions. The company manufactures and distributes flexible packaging materials and provides guidance with related equipment solutions. Nearly two-thirds of Farnell Packaging's packaging is used in the food industry, with the remainder used in markets for tissue, personal care, horticulture and other industrial applications.

 

Farnell CEO Bill Morash said pursuit of the SGP certification led the company to create a cross-functional energy team and grow revenue while reducing annual electrical consumption.
