Integrated Plastics Packaging introduced “Easy Linear Tear Zipper” technology to facilitate the opening of stand-up pouches. The technology is a proprietary process which utilizes a combination of material technology and machinery settings to incorporate the feature into the pouch substrate. Easy Linear Tear technology offers a lower cost alternative to the marketplace as compared to the use of laser scoring. It also provides a more aesthetically pleasing look to the pouch as there is no laser scored line visible as you see with laser scoring. 

The performance of the technology can ensure a straight clean tear of the laminate allowing easy access to the product packaged and subsequent use of the re-closeable zipper.
