Eagle Flexible Packaging (eagleflexible.com) adds converting equipment that broadens the scope of products and services offered.
“The market for pre-formed pouches continues to be one where we are clearly focused, within this space brand managers are often looking for innovative alternatives, the new line will enable Eagle to offer shaped pouches, side gusset quad seal pouches, and other flexible packaging options that are increasingly of interest.” says Tom Tyndall, vice president/general manager, “the investment decision was primarily driven by the need to add capacity however by adding innovative new capabilities we can take to the market are always apart of the decision making process.”
The new line will be installed in the Batavia, IL location and will be operational later this year.
