Packaging and processing industry leaders made their support for Pack Expo clear when they sent buying teams to participate in the Innovation Discovery initiative at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2013. More than a dozen companies participated, enjoying benefits including customer presentations on packaging and processing trends, sourcing support, an on-site meeting room and complimentary registration. Participating companies will also receive a white paper report on the most innovative displays and technologies at Pack Expo.

“Although we have offered this program for years, what made this year different was the size of the buying teams,” says Jim Pittas, vice president of trade shows at PMMI.

 

2013 marked the third year PMMI has contracted with industry veteran Ben Miyares, president of Packaging Management Institute, to engage with participating companies and provide the information they need as they gear up for the show.

 

“Ben has taken a good program and made it even better. His assistance allows us to provide a superior level of service to this group of attendees,” Pittas adds.
