Webex, a global leader in precision rolls for the web handling industry, has appointed Mark Fulcer as site operations director for its Neenah, Wis., manufacturing facility.

“Mark has been crucial in our efforts to improve output and capacity at Webex,” says Doug Knudtson, chief operating officer for Maxcess. “Several pieces of equipment have been purchased and numerous safety and training improvements are underway.”

In his new role, Fulcer will lead the site management team toward a more efficient operation, drawing upon his extensive experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology, while improving safety and sustaining the quality customers have come to expect from Webex.

“Mark has led the operations team in its successful effort to improve on-time-delivery by achieving its goal of 90 percent three weeks early,” says Knudtson. “Accomplishments are never the result of one person’s effort, but there is no question that Mark is bringing people together and the team he leads is moving the needle in a very positive direction.”
