Water-Based Primers Produces Highly Print-Receptive Surface
Michelman’s DigiPrime is a family of water-based digital printing primers, that are tested and recommended by HP as the primer of choice for HP Indigo presses. DigiPrime produces a highly print-receptive surface on paper and film media, and optimizes ink transfer, ink adhesion and rub resistance. It allows commercial, label and packaging printers to produce premium-quality output on a digital press. DigiPrime grades are available that can be applied from HP’s in-line priming units, or offline using traditional coating equipment including flexo, gravure, rod or roll systems. All DigiPrime grades are water-based, environmentally friendly and operator safe.
