TMI Introduces New Elmendorf Tear Tester
For over 30 years the Testing Machines Inc. Elmendorf tear tester has been best known for its robust design providing precision measurements for paper, plastic films, textiles, corrugated and board materials, company officials say.
The new unit features a 7-inch touch screen which provides easy input of test parameters and allows the user to quickly select instrument settings based on industry standards.
Changing test parameters and measuring units is easy and allows the tear tester to conform to a variety of International testing standards. The unit features a combination interchangeable augmenting weights and /or pendulums with capacities ranging from 200-6400 grams. Test results and statistics are displayed on one screen for easy review. Results can also be printed and exported to a removable USB drive, computer or sent directly to GraphMaster software for additional analysis and storage.
