Five-Layer Extrusion Technology Proves Successful for Flexible Packaging
Italian manufacturer Macchi has been actively demonstrating the success of its PolyOlefin Dedicated (POD) 5-layer bubble film extrusion technology. The extrusion line is able to produce a large quantity of films that are thinner and have better quality, the company says. These 5-layer films have no barrier effect, enabling them to be utilized in an increasingly wide range of flexible packaging applications.
