Meech Launches Hyperion Bar for Static Control
Meech International has further expanded its Hyperion range of static-control systems with the launch of the 924IPS — a compact, short-range ionizing bar. Suitable for use in printing, packaging, converting, and labelling, the Hyperion 924IPS is the first, purpose-built, industrial 24V-pulsed DC bar for short-range applications, company officials say. At 32 millimeters high, the 924IPS is suitable for installation in challenging positions that would normally require an AC bar. The 924IPS is Meech’s first ionizing bar to feature adjustable output voltage, and gives complete control over the output. This tool also features a “clean pins” alert into the design, in which an LED will illuminate either green or flashing red depending on the cleanliness of the bar, helping users to determine whether good ionization performance is being achieved.
