Amcor has announced the appointment of Michael Casamento as its new chief financial officer. Casamento has been Amcor’s acting CFO since January when Ron Delia, the company’s previous CFO, was appointed CEO.

“We are delighted to appoint Michael as CFO of Amcor,” Delia says. “Michael’s experience at Amcor, where he has managed the group level finance function very well, and his experience as a large business group CFO at SCA, working in the U.S. and China as well as Australia, is an asset to the company. In Michael’s 18 months with Amcor he has impressed us all with his intellect, ability to drive results and his integrity.”

Casamento will relocate to Zurich, Switzerland, to assume his new role.
