Coveris S.A.  has acquired Supraplast, a Guayaquil, Ecuador-based shrink sleeve and adhesive label technologies company. Coveris Holding Corp. and Coveris Flexibles US LLC have also entered into a management services agreement with Supraplast.

Company officials say the acquisition will afford Coveris an opportunity for expansion  in the South American region. 

"We are very pleased with the acquisition of Supraplast, our first operation located in South America," says Gary Masse, president and CEO of Coveris. "We look forward to continued growth in Latin and South America." 

Supraplast is a leader in printing technology with a  product offering that includes shrink sleeves, self-adhesive labels, safety seals, PVC and PET shrink films.  The company has a variety of top-tier customers and serves many markets such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and agriculture.
