Pouch Making? There's an App for that

StandUpPouches.net has released the Make My Pouch tool, the first of its kind in allowing users to design custom packaging from a computer, tablet or mobile device. The tool has been developed for use by novice designers or professionals to shorten the packaging cycle and get products into a fully personalized standup pouch quickly.
By accessing MakeMyPouch.com, visitors can select the type of packaging that best suits their product, then upload or edit artwork to view how it will appear on the package. The tool offers a 3D-rendered model of the pouch, complete with images, logos, text and other graphic elements the user has entered. The mobile and web app allow users to view what the product packaging will look like filled or empty and from various angles.
“The features and tools are easy to use and can help you to make a mockup of your dream packaging without expensive design software,” says Danielle Laurence, Graphic Design Director at StandUpPouches.net.
Packaging serves as the voice of any brand, and it creates the first impression consumers have of a product. This new tool helps CPG businesses, ranging from mom-and-pop shops to large corporations, try out new flexible packaging options that are fully printed, personalized and showcase their product in the very best light. Once the artwork and packaging structure have been designed via the web or mobile app, users can enter their contact information, and a project manager will be in touch to turn the design into real, fully functional pouches with minimum runs as low as 5,000.
The free online tool can be accessed directly at MakeMyPouch.com and through the iTunes App Store for Apple devices or Google Play for Android.
