Sun Centre USA has moved to its new U.S. headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The new facility provides expanded space for corporate offices as well as 10,000 square feet for the company’s new Technology Center.

The winning entries are Molson Coors 12 Pack Cooler Bag featuring portable convenience, ConAgra Slim Jim Premium Smoked Sticks featuring textured film technology, and JBS-Swift Printed Ovenable Meat Packaging (OvenRite) featuring oven-safe technology.

Whether avoiding a certain food type is due to an allergy, or a preference, retailers around the world are embracing the growing free-from culture. In the U.S. alone, 3.1 million people follow a gluten-free diet. 72 per cent of these are classified as PWAGs — people without celiac disease avoiding gluten.

Fourteen packages were recognized with 26 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards within one or more categories, including Expanding the Use of Flexible Packaging, Packaging Excellence, Printing and Shelf Impact, Technical Innovation and Sustainability Achievement.
