PPC Flexible Packaging (PPCFLEX), a leader in powerful packaging solutions, has announced the installation of a new HP Indigo 200K Digital Press at its Wisconsin facility. The addition expands PPC's fleet of HP Indigo presses-including the 6K, 25K, and now the 200K-solidifying the company's leadership in digital and flexographic printing across nutraceutical, food, and specialty markets.

The new HP Indigo 200K press will be dedicated to nutraceutical and Better-For-You applications, including flow wrap for stick packs, multipacks and private label offerings. Supported by PPC's robust inventory of laminated films, the press enables rapid turnaround times of 5 to 21 days for short-run, quick-turn, and custom packaging orders-helping brands stay competitive in fast-paced markets.

Beyond speed, the HP Indigo 200K delivers 1.5 times the output of previous-generation systems-accelerating time-to-market while optimizing cost efficiency. PPC customers benefit from a seamless pathway to scale, with solutions ranging from prototyping and short-run digital printing to high-volume flexographic production-encompassing volumes from 1 unit to 100 million units.

George Rose, Executive Vice President & General Manager, PPCFLEX, commented: "PPC is committed to delivering the highest quality and utilizing the best equipment, leveraging emerging technology for the benefit of our customers. We have been utilizing HP digital print technology for years and have now expanded our digital print capacity with the addition of the HP Indigo 200K press at our Wisconsin facility. The new machine allows us to respond even faster to our customers' demands, bringing products from concept to shelf in as little as days to three weeks. This is another example of how ONE PPC delivers purposeful, powerful packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of our markets."

The new press also strengthens PPC's strategic technology collaborations.

Justin Green, Director of Flexible Packaging - North America, HP Inc., said: "We are excited to see PPCFLEX harness the advanced capabilities of the HP Indigo 200K Digital Press. At HP, we believe innovation drives market leadership, and PPC's adoption of our latest technology exemplifies its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This press not only enhances productivity and quality but also provides the agility needed to meet the dynamic demands of the nutraceutical market."

Additionally, PPC is integrating Digimarc® digital watermarking technology into its nutraceutical packaging portfolio. By embedding imperceptible digital codes into packaging, Digimarc provides anti-counterfeiting protection, enhances supply chain traceability, and empowers consumers with instant product information.

Riley McCormack, CEO of Digimarc stated: "Offering the option to add digital watermarks from Digimarc to packaging enables brand inspectors and consumers to validate products quickly and easily, which helps protect brands-and their customers-from the costs and risks of counterfeit products. By working with PPC, we are providing nutraceutical brands with smart, connected packaging that is affordable, combats real-world threats, offers fast turnarounds, and delivers the security they demand."
