Dozens of local companies to participate at Converters Expo in the heart of Green Bay

Dozens of local packaging converting companies from Green Bay, De Pere and Appleton, Wisconsin will be joining 100 exhibitors at the 8th annual Converters Expo (ConvertersExpo.com), April 16 at the Lambeau Field Atrium, Green Bay. The event is produced by the Packaging Strategies group (packstrat.com), part of BNP Media (BNPMedia.com).

“We have a sold-out show floor and a record number of attendees registered for the Expo, which will offer the latest in paper, film and nonwovens products,” says Randy Green, group publisher of the Packaging Strategies newsletter and Food and Beverage Packaging and Flexible Packaging magazines. “We invite buyers, specialists and suppliers to register for this leading industry event, taking place in the heart of the Converters Corridor and featuring many local companies.”

Local companies from Green Bay include ASPIRO Inc., gb Flexo Equipment, Little Rapids Corp., OPTIMA Machinery Corp., Patrick Industrial Sales, RGL, Tol-Tec Inc., Services Plus Inc., and Totani America Inc.  Exhibiting companies from De Pere include Babcock & Wilcox MEGTEC, Robinson Metal Inc., and Sierra Coating Technologies. Exhibitors from Appleton include Baum Machine Inc., IPS Testing, L&S Electric, and Wilhelm Law.  Sponsors of the event include PRECO, Industrial Technologies, Valley Grinding & Mfg, AccuWeb, BST North America, and TANN Corp.  A full list of participating companies is available online.

“Since 2008, ASPIRO has participated in this annual expo, as we were looking for more than quantity, we wanted to meet high-quality attendees.  This event provides a forum to learn from the industry experts on current trends as well as develop networking opportunities in generating new business,” says Paul Cantwell, VP of Manufacturing, ASPIRO.

Hundreds of industry professionals will have the opportunity to meet with manufacturers who can assist in all aspects of production and processing of packaged goods. Exhibitors include suppliers of machinery, materials and services including printing and inks, folding and finishing, slitters and winders, coating, laminating and adhesives, warehousing, shipping and logistics and much more.

The 8th Annual Converters Expo will kick-off with a welcome reception on Wednesday, April 15 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and continue on Thursday, April 16, 2015 with exhibit hours from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and a happy hour on the show floor from 1:00 – 3:30 pm.    The fee to attend Converters Expo is only $45 which includes the networking reception, lunch the next day and full access to the exhibits; to register for the Expo, visit ConvertersExpo.com.
