tna continues global expansion with new office in Russia

August 22, 2017

tna (tnasolutions.com) is bolstering its on-the-ground customer support with the opening of a new office in Russia, TNA Eurasia LLC. Located right in the heart of one of Moscow’s key central business districts and within easy reach of the airport, the new office has been set up to support food manufacturers in Russia, the Baltics and the wider region of CIS countries with tna’s expansive range of turnkey processing and packaging solutions. This includes materials handling, cooking and frying, cooling and freezing, distribution, seasoning and coating, weighing and packaging, metal detection, verification, inserting and labeling, case packing and controls integration.

Eurasia LLC will be managed by Alexandra Simakova. Having worked for some of the world’s biggest packaging and food processing equipment suppliers and with a strong background in the food and beverages sector, Alexandra brings over 15 years’ experience in sales, business development and service management to the role. Her track record in developing successful business strategies and her insights into a wide variety of industry segments, including confectionery, powders, baked goods and various dry foods, offers immense value to local food manufacturers and gives Alexandra the experience and industry knowledge to help customers find the right solutions for their needs.

“We’re extremely excited to announce the opening of our new Moscow office and to welcome Alexandra on board,” comments Peter Oussoren, chief sales officer at tna. “We see immense potential in the region with more and more manufacturers looking for high-speed technology that can help them reach the same throughput with a single piece of equipment. Whether that’s a high-capacity fryer or ultra high-speed packaging system, with our advanced turnkey technology, food manufacturers can cater to the increasing demand while maximising their return on investment. Alexandra’s expertise together with our range of high performance packaging and processing solutions will be instrumental in supporting the growth of the regional market.”

Commenting on her appointment, Alexandra says: “The Russian food industry is very diverse, with each region having its own specific set of preferences. At the same time, we’re also seeing global trends affect local consumer choices. As a global business with a strong regional footprint, tna is well placed to cater to both the needs of the big multinationals as well as the smaller local manufacturers. I’m very excited to have joined such an innovative and dynamic business and look forward to supporting the regional food industry with our wide range of high-performance packaging and processing solutions.”

The new Russian office follows tna’s recent announcement of a new office in Tokyo, Japan. With over 30 offices and manufacturing sites around the world and over 14,000 systems installed across more than 120 countries, tna has quickly ascended from Australian packaging pioneer into a leading global supplier of integrated food processing and packaging solutions.
