Further to the usual technical and commercial problems that must be solved on a daily basis, printers of flexible packaging materials are increasingly confronted with several issues that must be dealt with.

New Era Converting Machinery, Inc. has hired Aurelian (Ray) Coca, a 25-year veteran in web converting, as its new project manager. 

Advanced Web Technologies, LLC (AWT), a leading provider of pressure-sensitive labels and flexible packaging, has been acquired by Milwaukee private equity firm Mason. The acquisition occurred on June 5.
