Indevco Plastics Inc., a business unit of Indevco Group, has launched operations with the acquisition of its first manufacturing facility in Longview, Texas.

Glenroy Inc., a converter and printer of flexible packaging, has concluded an agreement effective Jan. 16, to acquire the pouch converting operations of PF Flexibles, formerly known as Pouch Converting Technologies Inc.

High-barrier pouch packaging totalled around 49 billion units in 2014 and consumed approximately 319,000 tonnes of polymer materials.
