This veteran-owned company and its brand have a military theme. The company felt that a grenade-style packaging solution would provide an instantaneous link between grenades, military, explosion, heat, and hot sauce, would be shelf-friendly for retailers and would gain a permanent space on the kitchen table. The container is a 6-oz, pineapplestyle hand grenade bottle with a custom bottom plate and a threaded neck. There is a flat panel on the back for a label. The plastic black bottle cap that features a grenade-like "spoon" running down the side of the bottle with a black metallic dog tag that features the brand name and the company's motto, "A Great Sauce for the Greater Good."

BRUNI GLASS

Moreno Cedroni, a two-star Michelin chef, is considered one of the greatest innovators in Italy’s culinary scene. When developing a gift package for his popular jams and marmalades, Cedroni wanted an original package that would be identified exclusively with his name. The thick glass wall and deep, nesting push-up create a sophisticated package. Each jar is sealed with a different overwrap, in a color appropriate to the content’s distinctive flavor. A deep indent in the bottom of each jar allows the next jar to stack securely.

If you’re truly passionate about something, you want it to be as good as it can be. Stubborn Soda uses this spirit to create "damn good soda experiences." The brand celebrates people who aren't afraid to do things their own way. Aesthetically, this means celebrating imperfections and inherent grittiness. The design pulls from Mason jars and craft beers, with a distressed and slightly tilted logo. The badge shape represents pride and seal of approval. The label’s typography was chosen to allow for clear communication as well as with a hint to being hand-set. The package targets discerning Millennials, passionate about new experiences.

STUDIO ONE ELEVEN

Peace Tree Brewing is a craft brewery based in Knoxville, Iowa, producing four flagship craft¬ beers, as well as several seasonal and specialty beers. Starting with its Belgian-style blonde ale—Blonde Fatale—the brewery wanted to modify its standard bottle for better utility (achieving a true 12-oz fill and easier opening) and better shelf impression. The new stubby bottle with distinctive embossments wrapped in vibrant graphics and cartons creates a bold shelf presence. The label and the bottle show how Peace Tree straddles classic and contemporary with bold colors and intricate designs.

WIND WALKER CUSTOM PACKAGING

Knickerbocker Gin was one of the first American gins to be produced in the craft distilling scene. The proprietary bottle mirrors the prohibition-era New Holland still. It showcases a sharp shoulder and clean base for traditionally clear spirits. The glass is embossed with a windmill and “2005,” New Holland Artisan Spirits’ inaugural year. The new bottle shape is bar-friendly with an ergonomic neck, sized to fit well behind a bar, and can fit a standard pourer.
