New 2D barcode verifier from Axicon at Healthcare Packaging Expo 2017

The new Axicon (axicon.com) 15500 verifier, now available worldwide, provides users with the largest field-of-view for a portable 2D and linear barcode verifier. The barcodes that can be verified include all the 1D and 2D GS1 symbols, as well as Data Matrix and QR Codes. All the barcodes in the FOV will be verified simultaneously and the user simply clicks on each barcode to view the results for each one. The Axicon 15500 will check Data Matrix, GS1 DataMatrix, QR Code and GS1 QR Code, as well as any EAN, UPC, GS1 DataBar, ITF-14 or GS1-128 symbol up to 95mm wide. The verifier automatically applies the correct parameters for assessing each barcode based on the requirements of the appropriate ISO/IEC or application standard. The electronic record (scan file) for each test includes all the codes in the field of view.
