Packline USA (packlineusa.com) has launched Repeat USA, a 100 percent recyclable PE (polyethylene) film and pouch, addressing the growing consumer demand to buy recyclable products. The structure is made from multiple layers of barrier film laminated together then sealed.

Repeat USA is made from multiple layers of barrier film laminated together then sealed. This process creates a structure with barrier properties that eliminate such unwanted elements as moisture, vapor and odor. As laminated film is stronger than traditional film, it can be puncture resistant and highly resilient. The pouch can be filled and sealed by standard automated packaging lines. Easy-peel and micro-perforated film are some of the features that contribute to extending shelf life of foods.

The structure is available in reels and pre-made flat or stand-up pouches. Pouch packaging options include spout fitment, vacuum, shaped, window, side gusset, three-sided seal, pillow, zipper and tear-notched pouches. It can be used for frozen foods up to -20 degrees Celsius. It offers ink coverage up to 150% and suitable for reverse printing in flexo, gravure or digital inks. Applications include wet or dry foods, frozen foods and those using modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
