Richard Schloesser, president and CEO, Toray plastics (America), Inc., retires.
Michael Brandmeier is named successor.
Toray Plastics (America), Inc. (toraytpa.com), the only United States manufacturer of precision-performance polypropylene, polyester, bio-based, and metallized films for packaging and industrial applications, announces that Richard Schloesser, president, CEO, and adviser to the Toray Industries' Board of Directors, has retired and is succeeded by Michael Brandmeier. Schloesser joined the company in 1990 and had been President and CEO since 2008. Brandmeier most recently served the company as Executive Vice President and COO. He will continue to be a member of the Board of Directors. The two leaders worked side by side at Toray for nearly two decades.
