Avoid Scams

ATTENDEE LIST

Numerous companies have been contacting Global Pouch Forum attendees, sponsors and exhibitors claiming to sell/rent the Global Pouch Forum attendee list. Any third party attempting to solicit money in exchange for attendee information is fraudulent. Neither Global Pouch Forum nor any of our partners will ever distribute attendee information except as outlined in our sponsorship contracts and privacy policy.

Many of these firms are increasingly deceptive and aggressive in their marketing tactics - sometimes falsely including the Global Pouch Forum logo/website/name in their email signatures. These companies have no affiliation with Global Pouch Forum, the Packaging Strategies Brand or BNP Media and should be ignored. Unfortunately, because company names and “From” email addresses frequently change, it makes it very challenging to stop their actions.

HOTELS

Global Pouch Forum has secured a number of discounted room rates at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, where the event is taking place. For your protection, only book via the online reservations links on the event website or call the hotel directly and ask for the “Global Pouch Forum” group rate.

Avoid companies falsely posing as a partner of the Show. Companies or attendees who book rooms through a “third party room broker” often end up at sold out hotels with no reservations and no recourse for the payment of rooms. These brokers falsely imply they are affiliated with Global Pouch Forum and secure deposits and/or full prepayment fraudulently.

Global Pouch Forum does not work with any third party to sell advertising or sponsorships. If you are interested in advertising in Flexible Packaging or Packaging Strategies Magazine or participating in any other sponsorship opportunity, please contact your Global Pouch Forum sales manager.
