Alpina enhances formulation, packaging, and adds new flavors

Alpina's updated Yogurt Smoothie boasts seven grams of protein and fulfills 20 percent of the recommended daily allowance of calcium. The new product was reformulated to give consumers a thicker, creamier texture and less sugar than other smoothies on the market today. In fact, each Alpina Yogurt Smoothie has 2.6 g of sugar per once – less than any other comparable product on the market. And, with all the benefits of a spoonable yogurt—protein, calcium and live active cultures—Alpina Yogurt Smoothie also has the added value of being portable.

The seven-ounce smoothie is currently available in four flavors: vanilla, mango, strawberry, and strawberry banana. Alpina plans to add more indulgent flavors to satisfy people's sweet tooth like cherry, dulce de leche, tropical coconut, and other flavors to be announced later this year.
