The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is pleased to announce a new infographic that highlights the sustainability and convenience benefits of flexible packaging.

Flexible packaging is leading the way as a holistically sustainable packaging solution. It consumes less energy and fewer natural resources; generates less CO2 emissions; results in higher product-to-package ratio; and requires fewer trucks for transportation, using less fuel and creating fewer emissions.

Convenience is king. Flexible packaging’s features make life more convenient. It is easy to store, easy to reseal, easy to open, extends product life and is easy to carry. Single-serve flexible packaging makes it easy to snack on-the-go and control portion size.
