Two limited time offerings, for Trolli and Black Forest candy, turned red, white and blue for this summer and the Fourth of July, with designs by Hughes BrandMix.

Known for its weirdly awesome products, Trolli partnered with strategic branding agency Hughes BrandMix ( to launch a special edition Red, White & Awesome Sour Brite Crawlers Minis product and package. The crawlers turned red, white and blue to mark the Fourth holiday, and an off-the-wall new package was designed—featuring George Washington with American flag sunglasses, set against a stars and stripes backdrop. A stand-up shipper and display ready case were also developed to showcase the special edition products in store.

Black Forest partnered with Hughes to launch an exclusive Swirly Bears gummy product for the Summer season. With independence-themed graphics and unique, dual flavor gummies including Strawberry Cherry Swirl and Strawberry Grape Swirl, the product is a refreshing and fun way to celebrate the Fourth of July.
