World Packaging Organisation (worldpackaging.org) has launched the third edition of its Lifetime Achievement in Packaging Award, as part of the WorldStar Award. The aim is to acknowledge and reward excellence in all aspects of packaging science, technology, design and application around the world. 

WPO is in a unique position to identify leading practitioners across the globe. WPO honored four highly qualified recipients last May during the WorldStar Awards ceremony in Gold Coast, Australia.

“The discipline of packaging is one that is truly global. Therefore, each WPO member (representing a voting member of the national country) will have the opportunity to make up to one nomination this year via the online registration form," said WPO President, Pierre Pienaar. The first group of honorees will be selected by December 2018 and will be recognized during the WorldStar Awards Ceremony in Prague, Czech Republic, May 2019.
