Tequila bottle gets makeover
Herradura, the premium tequila from Brown-Forman, has been redesigned for its 140th anniversary. The 100% agave tequila’s new bottle is more angular and square cut, with a metal horseshoe (herradura in Spanish) inset in the front. The bottle closure also was updated with a clean, smooth finish to establish a modern image, and an embossed ribbon seal to signify authenticity while unifying the line extension. The new design has been rolled out in the 750-milliliter bottle in retail and trade outlets in California, Florida and Texas, and throughout Mexico. The remainder of the U.S. and rest of the world will follow in the coming weeks and months, in both 750ml and 1-liter versions.
