Packaging industry veteran joins Ecologic Brands

Mark Frey becomes new vice president of sales and business development.

Mark Frey has joined Oakland, CA-based

Ecologic Brands(www.ecologicbrands.com) as the new vice president of sales and business development. Ecologic Brands designs and manufactures a revolutionary paper bottle made from recycled cardboard and old newspapers.

Frey brings more than 20 years of experience in the packaging industry to lead Ecologic Brands' sales and market expansion efforts. He previously worked as vice president of sales for MeadWestvaco. Prior to MeadWestvaco, Frey led commercial efforts at Berry Plastics.

Frey's dedication to the industry has led to strong relationships with consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies across the globe, including those in the beauty and personal care, home and garden, household chemicals, vitamin and mineral supplements and food and beverages markets.

Frey has an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

ON DEMAND: With the assistance of the Frito-Lay R&D team, Bryce produced a fully industrial compostable, BPI certified flexible packaging structure for five different Frito-Lay products for the Coachella Music Festival in 2023.
