This year’s Pack Expo Chicago will be the first time that the IMA DAIRY & FOOD (imadairyfood.com) group exhibits together with IMA SpA. The IMA booth (#S-3547), is IMA’s largest yet in the U.S., and will showcase several new packaging equipment offerings including the Hassia form, fill and seal machine for portion packs.

The Hassia FFS on display packages dressings & sauces, butter, margarine, jam, honey and more, at speeds up to 43,200 portion packs per hour.  Hassia, existing since 1953, is part of the IMA DAIRY & FOOD group that also includes other well known brands Benhil, Corazza, Erca, Fillshape, Gasti and Hamba. The product portfolio also features rotary fillers for stand-up pouches, form, fill & seal machines for cups, aseptic stickpack form, fill & seal machines, wrapping machines for butter, cheese and soup cubes, and filling and sealing machines for pre-formed cups.

IMA Dairy & Food USA, recently relocated to Leominster, MA, and shares the same facility as its sister company, IMA North America.
