The interpack alliance trade fairs, organized by Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf India and the Indian Institute of Packaging, are looking at a successful event this year.

Around 350 exhibitors are expected to showcase their latest technologies on more than 204,500 square feet of exhibit space, with market leaders such as Bizerba, Constantia Flexibles, Hangzhou Youngsun Intelligent Equipment Co., Huthamaki and Pakona Engineers Pvt. Ltd. The events will also feature country group exhibits from China, Germany and Italy. The trade fair trio will take place at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai from October 24-26, 2018.

As at last year’s successful premiere in Mumbai, pacprocess India, food pex India  and indiapack 2018 will be complemented by the drink technology India trade fair, organized by Messe München. With this successful concept, visitors will be presented with innovations from the packaging and related process industry (interpack alliance trade fairs) as well as from the beverage technology, dairy and liquid food sectors (drink technology India). Another important cornerstone of the concept is the trade fair location alternating between Mumbai and New Delhi.

India is an increasingly important market for the entire packaging sector and the related process industry and this trade fair quartet is the ideal platform to enter this lucrative market. Accordingly, the German group exhibit of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy includes a range of high-ranking participants such as Multivac, Bizerba, Constantia Flexibles, KHS, Krones and Huthamaki. The official group participations from China and Italy (supported by the industry association UCIMA) also reflect the economic importance of the Indian packaging sector.
