Blake’s brings All-Natural comfort food to new audience.

Blake’s All Natural Foods, the family business known for small batch production of classic comfort food like Chicken Pot Pie and Shepherd’s Pie, is unveiling a new line of All-Natural meals. The new meals will be arriving in conventional grocers’ freezers this fall.

Frozen foods saw a double-digit decline in sales over the last year, but Blake’s bucked the trend and experienced over 40% growth over the same period. As one of the fastest growing brands in the Natural grocery channel with the top selling frozen protein-based item-Chicken Pot Pie-Blake’s identified an opportunity to expand its audience and bring the company’s promise of quality natural food to conventional grocers.   Blake’s new All-Natural meals include:
  • Chicken Pot Pie

  • Gluten-Free Chicken Pot Pie

  • Shepherds Pie

  • Macaroni & Beef

  • Old Fashioned Mac & Cheese

  • Mac & Cheese with Chicken

  • Mac & Cheese with Veggies

  • Garden Vegetable Pie
“By expanding to more conventional retailers, our new All-Natural line will bring quality, healthy food to more families’ dinner tables,” says Chris Licata, president of Blake’s.“We have seen incredible success in the Natural channel, and believe that we can carry this momentum to conventional grocery by slightly lowering our price points and getting our products in front of a broader audience.”

Retailers will have the choice to carry either the new All-Natural meals or the company’s well known ‘made with organics’ product line. Recipes have been modified slightly for the conventional grocery channel in order to maintain balance between organics and price, with the new all-natural meals intended to bring natural food options to more families than ever.

As Blake’s continues to strive to serve natural food to as many families as possible the company still makes all of its meals from scratch using the finest organic and all-natural ingredients and Grandma Clara Blake’s heirloom family recipes. Blake’s homespun innovations are available at natural food stores, co-ops and grocery stores around the country.
