Global sustainable video honored by Central Ohio PRSA.

announces that
its System Plast™ Global Sustainable Solutions video has been selected as
the recipient of a Central Ohio Chapter Public Relations Society of America
(PRSA) PRism Award. Recognized for the “other applications of new technology”
category and created by Fahlgren Mortine, the animated video was developed to
educate audiences about the System Plast product line at PACK EXPO 2011 in Las
Vegas.
The video addresses the
major concern of water conservation for beverage manufacturers as government
agencies continue to enforce new regulations. It provides stats on
manufacturing water usage, including the fact that typical beverage companies
use four to seven gallons of water in the supply chain to produce a single
gallon of their product. The video also explains how Emerson’s System Plast
product line can offer a solution that reduces traditional soap and water
lubrication while also reducing water usage in the production process.
In 2011, Emerson Industrial
Automation launched its System Plast New Generation™ chains and belts for
the U.S food and beverage industry. In addition to water conservation,
System Plast products also address common application issues, such as
efficiency, noise reduction and hygiene.
