packaging division to specifically cater to the
bearing needs of food processing and pharmaceutical packaging industries.
The company's dedicated packaging division is led by Lee
Holt, Marketing Specialist and bearings expert who has been with the company
for 46 years.
Packaging and Food processing are
usually fully automated and often take place under extreme operating
conditions. This requires low maintenance, special hygiene requirements and
operational reliability. Emerson Bearing Boston's knowledgeable packaging team
assists clients in determining which bearing technologies would be most
suitable by taking into consideration the specifications, recommendations,
maintenance strategies, fatigue life and wear resistance of the bearing in
relation to the application. The company’s 24/7 service and inventory are
critical to the operations of many of their packaging clients.
Emerson Bearing Boston offers FAG,
NTN, SK and other brands as well as special solutions that include best in
class corrosion resistant pillow blocks at affordable price points. All
are available with triple lip seals. For high load positions in filling plants,
the company offers several slewing ring options such as four point contact
bearings or crossed roller bearings.
