Weiler Labeling Systems announces executive hire
Weiler Labeling Systems LLC (WLS) has hired Jonathan C. Guy as its Vice President, Sales and Marketing, a new position for the company. Guy will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all world-wide sales and marketing activities at the company. This will include management of the sales team, marketing strategy including print, online and trade show activities, new product strategy, geographic expansion and partnership assessment.
Guy comes to WLS after a brief stint leading the HD Label Group, and some six years as President and Head of the Americas Region for Gallus, a premier supplier to the label and package printing sector. While at Gallus, he ramped up the sales organization, opening up several overseas offices and more than doubling the sales performance of the company in the region. In addition, he brought Gallus into the Brand Protection Alliance, giving it a unique position in the growing anti-counterfeit arena. Previous to that, Guy held international executive positions at the Heidelberg Group including serving as founder and Global Head of Heidelberg Used Equipment, then based in Slough, England. While in this position, he led the worldwide used equipment sales team to grow revenue from 150 million to 340 million Euros in less than three years.
Guy received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. In addition, he received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Warwick in Coventry, England.
