Skjodt-Barrett Contract Packaging LLC (www.skjodt-barrett.com) announces that Michael Brannan has joined its executive team in the role of general manager-US operations.

In this newly created role, Brannan will lead the continued rapid growth and expansion of the Lebanon, Ind. facility. Dedicated in November 2011, Skjodt-Barrett has grown to become the industry leader in the manufacturing of baby food and fruit purees in spouted pouches in North America with over 300 team members at the Lebanon facility.

Brannan comes to Skjodt-Barrett with extensive experience in food processing. He joins Skjodt-Barrett after 15 years with Gerber/Nestle, most recently as associate director of contract manufacturing. In that role Brannan was responsible for external manufacturing activities for Gerber and Nestle branded products across multiple manufacturing companies throughout the US and Canada. Brannan also has an additional five years’ experience working for privately-held contract manufacturers, in the beverage, dry blend, and baking industries.

 On the personal front, Brannan is a Hoosier native, and is very much looking forward to returning home with his family to Indiana.
