Simplimatic Automation (simplimatic.com) is proud to welcome John Artman as vice president of business development, assembly sales and marketing to aid in the coordination of the company’s rapidly expanding sales team.

Simplimatic specializes in the design, manufacture and integration of material handling and robotic automation systems serving a variety of industries across the globe. Simplimatic is dedicated to the hire of individuals who diligently promote the company’s high business standards.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to get to know our rep network and provide them with any additional information or guidance they need,” says Artman. “Our reps are an integral part of our team and I want to make sure they are always on the same page with the newest Simplimatic updates.”

Artman received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisville and has more than 25 years of sales, business development, engineering and project management experience within automation equipment. He has held various leadership roles including project engineering manager, sales manager, and vice president of sales and business development within several global assembly and automation companies.

Artman's main responsibilities within Simplimatic will be providing clear direction to the various teams he is leading and working closely with Simplimatic’s rep network. Short term goals include implementing sales initiatives to further increase sales revenue, provide new products updates, and technological advancements. He will also work to further coordinate the diverse Simplimatic sales team's efforts to ensure the biggest impact in regions across the world.
